How We Earn Revenue

When you click a link on our site and sign up for a software product, we may receive a commission from the software company. This is how we fund the research, writing, and maintenance of this site.

How This Affects Our Reviews

It doesn’t change our recommendations. Our editorial process is the same regardless of whether a product has an affiliate program:

1. We research each product’s features, pricing, and real user feedback
2. We evaluate how well it serves specific trades (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, etc.)
3. We make recommendations based on trade-specific fit, not commission size
4. We include “Not For You” sections that honestly tell you when a product is the wrong choice

We review and recommend products that do not have affiliate programs. We also recommend against products that do have affiliate programs when they are not the right fit.
